We are not medical, dental, or mental health providers. We cannot make a medical diagnosis, prescribe drugs, or recommend discontinuing drugs. Medical terminology is taken from referrals by medical professionals. We treat symptoms, not diseases.
We offer advice, counsel, or guidance ancillary to our occupations as hypnotists.

In the 1990's, he studied and wrote about dissociation (MPD aka DID) and learned how powerful the Subconscious Mind can be in controlling the body, even changing allergy responses. He spent his childhood and early adulthood studying religions and has broad knowledge of how these have attempted to understand the human mind.
His pioneering work designing and program-ming artificially intelligent (AI) chatbots in the 1990's gave him unique insights into how the human brain is similar to but very different from learning machines.
He has flown dogs across the country in his airplane for rescue organizations and has been featured on Animal Planet, is a PADI certified Master Scuba Diver, keeps a half dozen bee hives, raises chickens, and rescues feral cats on his estate in East Texas. He also operates one of the largest amateur (ham) radio web sites in the world (eQSL.cc).

Dave Morris is a board-certified instructor in hypnotism (Certified Master Trainer) with the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, and a Certified Consulting Hypnotist (CCH) with the National Guild of Hypnotists, as well as an associate member of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and a Certified Medical Hypnotherapist with ICBCH.
Over the past forty years, he has taken courses with the Jose Silva Method of Mental Dynamics, Dave Elman's Hypnosis Institute, Richard Nongard's Medical Hypnotherapy, Mike Mandel's Navigator course, Brent Baum's HMR trauma resolution course, and has studied the methods of Milton Erickson, Napoleon Hill, Norman Vincent Peale, David Snyder, Steve Andreas, and many other experts in the self-improvement and alternative healing fields.
In 2017 he began seeing clients with movement disorders, and starting in 2020, prominent neurologists in the DFW area have been referring many of their patients with Functional Neurologic Disorder (FND) or Functional Movement Disorder (FMD) to him for treatment. The remarkable successes in this area led to writing an abstract which was presented in Copenhagen Denmark in 2023 at the International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders.
