How many times have you heard "there's no reason to be depressed, can't you just snap out of it?"

Now that number has skyrocketed to about 1 in 9 Americans of all ages taking at least one antidepressant medication in the past month, according to national survey data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
